BIO
Born in 1990, in São Paulo, Paula Carregosa is a left-handed, self-taught guitarist (who does not use a pick). Graduated in Social Communication with a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and Technologist in Marketing.
Musical Influences: DeathMetal/Deathcore. Jason Becker, Jeff Loomis, Keith Merrow, Wes Hauch.
In 2004, 1st Hardcore band in which she was drummer. At the age of 19, he started playing the guitar. In 2009, he played in the Deathcore band. In 2010, he worked with musical instruments at Teodoro Sampaio, Hendrix Music and Hendrix Audio and Technology stores in the field of interfaces/plugins for recording.
2012 Joined MTV Brazil at Rocka Rolla Show. Shortly after joining Detonator, she also became part of the Paraná-based band Panndora. She played all over Brazil with both bands, participated in expos, was part of Tagima dream team as an endorser of the brand, she played workshops at the EMT music school, performed at VMB, Danilo Gentili tv show, anime events such as Anime Friends and Comic Con, among others.
In 2013, she recorded the solos for Detonator e as Musas' album. The album features several renowned Brazilian artists. In the same year, she played at Sparflexday at EMT with Kiko Loureiro and Cacau Santos as an endorser, and at the "Especial Dia do Rock" and also at the End of MTV Brazil".
At ExpoMusic, played as main band at MusicHall with the Detonator band. In parallel, she worked at the Showlivre Studio, with musical artistic production, communication, social media, and artist relationship.
In 2015, she recorded Detonator's DVD in Fortaleza, which was released in July of the same year.
In 2016, she played on the Rock Kiss FM cruise along the Brazilian coast and at anime events. She was part of the COSMOS project, by guitarist Rogério Torres (JohnWayne), along with Ed Garcia (Vitalism) and André Casagrande. She left Panndora in 2015 and Detonator in 2016.
In 2017, Paula Carregosa began her music production journey at Eject Studios, where she assisted in recording, editing, mixing, and mastering processes, along with video and image capture.
2020 Paula Carregosa did online work testing equipment, plugins, and promoting services. Paula developed a guitar study method without theory called TETRIS, the packlicks SWEEPLICKS, the step-by-step arpeggio e-book, and the 3 pillars of MUSICAL MARKETING e-book for musicians to grow digitally and close sponsorship deals, in that time, Paula had more than 25 endorsements and partnerships.
In 2023, she was invited to participate in YouTuber Jared Dines’ reality show in Seattle, where she joined the deathcore/hardcore band Graystone and won the show.
In 2024, Paula continues as a member of Graystone. She works in music production, creating instrumentals for various international artists. Her social media profiles reach 2 million monthly visits, placing her in the 6th position among the most relevant Brazilian metal profiles on social media, according to Viberate. On Spotify, she has around 65,000 listeners.
